The VEX Robotics Competition (VRC), is an educational robotics competition aimed at promoting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among young students and expanding their interests in these fields. It cultivates teamwork, leadership skills, problem-solving methods and enhances the ability of students to participate in world-class competitions.
VEX機器人大賽又稱VEX機器人世界錦標賽(VEX Robotics Competition),是一項旨在通過推廣教育型機器人,拓展青少年學生對科學,技術,工程和數學領域興趣,培養青少年的團隊合作精神,領導才能和解決問題的方法,並提高與促進孩子們進入世界級大賽的能力。
With technology as the focus, it provides a platform for all students to acquire technology knowledge, communicate with others and showcase their abilities, inspiring their potential in technology and helping them to achieve their technology dreams. The competition is strongly supported by NASA, DELL EMC, Asian Robotics League, Chevron Corporation, Texas Instruments, Northrop Corporation, Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Autodesk, Innovation First, Carnegie Mellon University, MIT, and other American companies. The students have the opportunity to exercise their creativity and make their own robots based on the rules of the year using tools and materials at hand. VEX Robotics Competition is held annually around the world.
